Your Private Global Gateway

Transition from experimental passes to constellation-scale operations with an exclusive infrastructure built for your mission. Groundcom provides dedicated, non-shared S/X-Band and VHF/UHF stations globally. Eliminate third-party scheduling conflicts and high variable costs with a turnkey, managed network that offers total strategic control without the operational burden of maintenance.

Operational in 24 hours. Submit your TLE and frequency plan, and our scheduling engine will have your first pass booked before your satellite completes its next orbit.
Why This Service

Ground Infrastructure
Shouldn't Be Your
Biggest Problem

As your mission matures, a dedicated network offers a natural progression toward greater operational autonomy. While our shared network is perfect for flexible, early-stage access, a dedicated gateway provides high-volume constellations with 100% exclusive airtime.

It’s a cost-effective way to secure predictable pricing and total scheduling freedom as your satellite fleet grows.

Key Benefits

Everything You Need,
Nothing You Don't

Exclusive Hardware Access

Enjoy 100% availability with zero scheduling conflicts. This is your private infrastructure, ensuring your satellites always have a clear line of communication.

Earth from space showing global coverage

Zero Maintenance Burden

We handle global site leasing, local repairs, and 24/7 hardware upkeep. You get the power of ownership without the headache of international logistics.

Predictable OPEX Pricing

Move away from volatile per-minute billing. Our fixed monthly or annual models provide financial clarity, making constellation scaling more affordable and manageable.

Unmatched Technical Synergy

As both the hardware manufacturer and network operator, we provide a vertically integrated software-hardware stack that no legacy ground segment provider can match.

Rapid Global Footprint

Leverage our existing global sites for immediate deployment. We can activate dedicated S/X-Band stations within weeks, accelerating your path to full constellation coverage.

Who This Is For

The Shared Network Is Ideal If You Are...

The Scaling Constellation

Operators moving from 10 to dozens of satellites who need fixed costs and guaranteed 24/7 access.

Strategic Mission Leads

Teams requiring total independence from shared scheduling and third-party data handling for sensitive or critical operations.

The Cost-Conscious CFO

By moving to a predictable, fixed-cost structure, you can significantly lower your average cost-per-pass and stabilize your long-term budget as your data needs expand.

Need a dedicated, private network instead?

If you're operating a high-cadence constellation, require sovereign data handling, or need custom RF configurations — a Dedicated Ground Station Network may be the better fit.

FAQ

Frequent questions

How does a "Dedicated" network differ from your "Shared" network?

In the Shared Network, you book slots alongside other users. In a Dedicated Network, the hardware is reserved exclusively for you. You own 100% of the station's time, meaning no scheduling conflicts and unlimited passes.

Who owns the hardware in this model?

We offer two paths. Typically, Groundcom owns and operates the hardware while you pay for the dedicated service. This removes CAPEX and maintenance from your plate. However, we can also build a network that you own entirely, with Groundcom providing the maintenance.

Which frequency bands are supported?

Our dedicated networks support the full spectrum of modern satellite needs: VHF (Up/Down), UHF (Up/Down), S-Band (Up/Down), and X-Band (Downlink). Custom frequency development is also available through our R&D team.

Can we use our own Mission Control Software?

Yes. Whether the network is owned by you or Groundcom, we provide direct API access. The infrastructure is designed to be a transparent extension of your own Mission Control Center.

How fast can you deploy a new dedicated site?

Leveraging our "Rapid Deployment" USP, we can often have a dedicated station operational at one of our global sites within one month, far faster than the 6-12 month industry average.

Why This Is Right for You

If You've Made It This Far, the Answer Is Yes

You're operating or planning a CubeSat or small satellite mission and you need ground infrastructure that won't become a multi-month project. The Groundcom VHF/UHF line was designed for exactly this profile.

Stop Paying the "Shared" Tax

If your pass volume is rising, a dedicated network is the only way to protect your margins and ensure 24/7 mission availability.

Focus on Your Constellation

Let us handle the dirt, the RF, and the global maintenance. You focus on the data; we'll focus on the ground.

Total Strategic Sovereignty

Eliminate dependency on 3rd party schedules. Secure your own dedicated link to space with a partner that manufactures the hardware they operate.

Proven Global Reliability

Join operators who trust Groundcom’s S/X-Band technology across our established global network. We are ready to deploy for you today.

Scalability Without Friction

Scale from one dedicated station to a global web seamlessly. Our hardware and software grow exactly as your constellation does.

The "Turnkey" Promise

From the first bolt to the final API call, we provide the most complete, fastest-to-deploy dedicated ground segment solution in the industry.
